Members Area
The European Business Council for Africa and the Mediterranean (EBCAM) was founded in 1973 by seven European associations, which represent investors in Africa.

Through its members EBCAM represents some 2,000 European Union companies with interests in the African continent, from the Maghreb to South Africa, and representing over 3,000,000 employees. Their activities cover the complete range of commerce and industry, including agriculture, mining, transport, banking and the service sectors.

The EBCAM brings together European investors and other operators engaged in economic activity in the African continent, and it works for a close cooperation between the European private sector and African countries, in particular the private sector. It is the only organisation that comprehensively represents the range of business activities undertaken in Africa by European Union companies.

EBCAM embraces all E.U. Associations of private sector specialised on developing economics relationships with African countries.

EBCAM has a rotating Presidency which is being chaired from July 1st 2007 by DI of Denmark, and with NABC from the Netherlands and HACCD of Greece as Vice-Presidents.
